“Intervenção” is the fourth studio album by the Brazilian hardcore/crossover band Ação Direta, originally released in 1998. It is a landmark of the Brazilian underground scene, known for its aggression, groove and social critiques. It was a move forward for the band from more old school and even melodic hardcore to the aggressive, metallic and groovy crossover sound without loosing their speedy trips. This is pure Ação Direta what they are known for. The band toured Europe in 1999 to promote this specific record, performing across countries like Germany, Austria, Spain, and others.
