Madrid, back in 1995, punk group Zinc is born.
Founder members; Dulze (vox), Gregorio (guitar), Dani (drums) and Miguel Angel "Adicto"(bass).

The later was dismissed some time after; Victor, who also plays his 5 strings with MOB was his replacement on the band. However, Ken has been the last to join this hardcore combo, playing second guitar since the recording of the new album.
Gregorio and Miguel Angel had been together for quite a while, playing in many bands; like Mal Gusto, Tocadiscos Humano, SDO 100%V or Los Del Yopo. After moving from their practise room, both musicians started to produce songs with a distinctive and melodic point of view as Snuff, Samiam, Bad Religion and Nofx, but with some experimental flows the way No Means No or Victim's Family did. Soon, they shared a mini-tour with spanish band Wipe Out Skaters and took part in many festivals like Bokete Rock (1997,1998). After this successful tour, Zinc released their first long play with Rumble Records, named "Zinc" (1999).

Sharing stage with the likes of Fun People, Rollins Band, Ratos de Porao, Munsterland, Capitán Entresijos, Wallride, Foxy Heidi, Ketchoop, Union 13, MOB, Rabia Positiva, Hiperkore, Spandau Bullet or La Vaca Guano among others took Zinc to Salamanca, Valencia, Bilbao, León or Segovia, being a must-see in shows against experiments on animals, organized by spanish association A.L.A. (Alternative for Animal Liberation), playing with Sugarless, Hamlet or Meninos da Rua; or playing in festivals like Palomeras Rock with Segismundo Toxicómano and Disidencia... After this busy period, they needed a new album.. Rimshot studios and producer Carlos Lillo are chosen to bring "Old Mundo Punk!" to life. Released by Soulforce Records this recording shines as their best work, setting aside their melodic tastes and focusing their compositions on a more raw and hard line.

Another point of interest is bringing argentinan vocalist and underground agitator Nekro (Fun People, BB Kid) to the studio, giving a special touch to songs a lo Black Flag, RKL or even Life... but how to live it?, besides his colaboration on the song "Can you Hear me?".

Now ZINC and Soulforce Records introduce you their work: 16 tracks without concessions, fast and hard directly to your heart, plus a cd-rom track with a video ("Plastika"), band profile, full lyrics, their translations to english, and many surprises ZINC also managed to include a small tribute to spanish legendary punks "Toreros After Olé" with a new re-issue of their classic hit "Chicos de la calle".
