THE DAYS PASSED, the disk didn't come out... a lot of people were anxious, the 2 single they had generated a lot of expectation and not only the artist won't defraud them, but rather (for surprise of many) it didn't came out alone...
BOOM BOOM KID / IL CARLO. by the middle of novembre saw the light the first long play "OKEY DOKEY", the first 2000 copies came with the IL CARLO single "how lonesome can i be" which contained 3 covers (dave clark, phil spector, mancini/mercer) full of emotion, bolero and keyboards... but... and BBKid!?
HEY BOY!!! OKEY DOKEY DUCK!!!, it is the beginning of a walk that lasts 22 tracks, near 45 minutes and that contains very good songs. including the hits"i do" and "kitty" has others that could become ones too... "i don't mind" a song sang/celebrated in the concerts as if of a classic was... "la vida esta bien sino te rindes" and others... but the BBKid factory doesn't stop!
JENNY / FELIZ, it is a third single, pointed to diffusion, there are only 1000 numerated, 200 were sent to the radios and the remaining 800 are sold to the public... the single in question brings the songs " jenny " (with a little change in the beginning), "feliz" and the radio spot ...
IN SOME HOURS, and with a budget of $7, the video of the song " KITTY " was filmed.
NEXT OBJECTIVE, summer tour 2001...
THE SUMMER TOUR was a success performing almost every
day BBKid carried his new songs not only by the atlantic coast , but also to
places like tierra del fuego, puerto madryn, etc... closing in a great show
at cemento...
AND NOW FOR THE FIRST TIME IN EUROPE! an awesome picture disc LP selecao of 18 most loveable songs gets released in ugly europe in august 2002 to support the tour with ZINC which will take place in september/october 2002. yeahjejeje!
