We admit it, we´re lazy as fuck in keeping our homepage up to date, although we have some news to announce: Gfrast consists now of 6 people, we have a second bassplayer, new merch, a new song and we also play a very old song again we didn´t play in years. Our tour starts tomorrow, check out our dates, hopefully see you there!!

Hej you all, finally some words, updates and news from us. Gfrast is going on tour from the 22nd of december until 5th of january! Some concerts are already fixed but we still need a few shows, so please check out our dates and feel free to contact us if you want to put up a show for us!!! A big fat thankyou to all the people who already confirmed to make shows for us! This tour is gonna be the first with our new guitarplayer, hopefully new recordings and new
t shirts and patches! We will record some new songs in November, if everything works out fine with the mixing they will be available on tape, cd and usb stick, the vinyl will come later. So take care and hope to hear from yous soon or see yous at one of our concerts!

Long time no see. Like always Gfrast falls in a deep summerhole and is absolutely unbusy in this period of the year. But with winter approaching more and more we get active again. So, what´s new? One of our lovely guitar players quit the band, but we already have someone new who is busy learning all the songs. You can witness him (and us ) on stage on the 21.st of December at the birthdayparty of the Bloodshed Label at EKH, where we play together with Flowers in Concrete and Dim Prospects. New songs will be recorded shortly after the gig and maybe we go on a small tour in spring. At the end of April we play at the ABC Fest in Vienna.We still have T-shirts, copies from the first EP and Tapes, Mini cds and USB Sticks from the second EP. the new recording will be a proper LP with probably 6 songs, 3 unreleased ones. The new songs are finally finished and can be downloaded from our site. There have been some changes with the EP due to the breakup of our most beloved band Otium Adei. So there won´t be a Split EP, but the new songs will be available on usb, mini-cd and tape. Later this year we hopefully record new stuff and will release a proper full LP with all the new songs.
So we fill our days now with making new merch, rehearsaling and trying to find the last two concerts that are missing on tour. So if anyone has ideas/contacts for us between Berlin and Lübeck and Lausanne and Innsbruck you are very welcome!!! See you soon!!!

long time no read.... most of 2017 we were lazy or involved in other bandprojects or out in woods..but the last months we started being busy again, lots of rehearseling and composing new songs. we played an awesome concert at the Wagenplatz Treibstoff Fest where we could finally present a new song. Next steps will be the release of the EP, finally..and we will soon have new selfmade screenprinted T-shirts, yeah!.. What else, we plan to go on tour in march/April 2018, mostly in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The dates are on our webpage, so if anyone could help us with a gig we would really appreciate it!

Back from Tour, back in the studio....tour was amazing, thanx to all the people who organized shows and made it often possible at last minute that we could play!! Another thanx goes out to hannelore for doin an amazing job as the support drummer....But maybe the biggest thanx goes out to Otium Adei who were not only a second touring band during these 17 days but manifested themselves as part of the Gfrast family.
So, what´s next? At the moment we are finishing recording the rest of our songs and will release a Split LP with Otium Adei, probably next year. There are lots of new ideas for new songs, finally we start composing new stuff. Although there are no concerts planned at the moment you can always write us if you want a LP (they come in 4 different screenprinted covers and 4 different coloured screen prints on the Vinyl itself), tape, cd or usb Stick with our music - we send them everywhere!17.09.2016
So, what´s going on? summer is over and we are back rehearsaling for our upcoming tour in autumn, together with our Otium Adei from France and a very close friend who helps us out as a substitute drummer for some of shows.

Sodala, finally an update. We played a great concert at the Viennese ABC Solidarity Festival end of April where we could finally present the LP for the first time.The LP (actually it´s an EP) is available in four different covers and five different colours on the Vinyl itself, everything is screenprinted. You can get the Vinyl directly from us, just write us an email or get it at our next shows.
What else, at the moment we are recording three songs which we already played live but never recorded them. It´s progressing pretty well, yeah. After that it´s gonna be a bit quiet for us, but in autumn (end of october/november) we plan to go on tour, most likely to germany, belgium, france and switzerland – so if you have contacts or are interested in helping us putting up shows we would be more than thankful for any help we can get!!!
Finally one more thing, we will get support from a good friend of us to be a substitute drummer for some shows in the future, we are so looking forward for this!!!!
